Designed as a surrogate for someone who I felt did not reciprocate the attention I paid him, this uses a camera and a computer program that I wrote to detect the nearest face looking at it and turns its head to focus on that face. If the person moves, the head will turn to follow the person's face either until the person stops paying attention to it (i.e. stops facing it), until it cannot turn its head any further, or until someone else looking at it comes closer (in which case it will turn to look at the closer person).
